RABINOWITZ, Justice. This appeal concerns a promissory note signed by John Johnson ("J. Johnson") and Marjorie Ulmer ("Ulmer") payable to H.F.
Schaub ("Schaub") and an addendum securing the note signed by J. Johnson and Rocklyn Johnson ("R. Johnson"). At issue is whether
the superior court erred in denying Ulmer and the Johnsons' second motion for a continuance, in ruling that no genuine issue
of material fact existed with regard to the note's validity, and in holding R. Johnson jointly and severally liable for payment
of the note.
